World Macaroni Day

July 7 is World Pasta Day. Pasta is one of the most popular foods of all ages. It is also good for a healthy, nutritious, and filling meal. Macaroni is a dry pasta traditionally formed and produced in various shapes and sizes and has different flavors and colors. In Iran, the word “Macaroni” is used both in the meaning of pasta and widely for all kinds of spaghetti and patterned pasta, etc. Iranians also have a type of roasted pasta called Tedig Macaroni, which is very popular.

Every year on July 7, all pasta lovers celebrate and invite themselves to a delicious pasta meal. International organizations announced a day named after macaroni to emphasize its importance in filling and its strength. For this reason, July 7 was announced as World Macaroni Day.

People generally do three activities on this day: either making different kinds of pasta at home, eating different types of pasta in restaurants with their friends, or participating in various pasta festivals.

Every year on this day, the DoosteAutism charity decides to organize a party for children and families so that children and families can enjoy being together. This year, a small celebration was held with the company of Elite and Copa and the kind presence of volunteers, families, educators, and children. We all celebrated a beautiful and memorable day together.
