Description
Autism is a puzzle. We don’t know what caused it. There is no cure for it and there is no easy way to educate others about this disorder.
We hope this book is the start of an intergenerational conversation and teaching children how to accept others, even those who look different. We cannot let this generation forget their peers.
Part of the Book:
I have a very good teacher. Her name is Mrs. Noonan. I like school.
I love meeting new people and making friends but sometimes, you meet new people who don’t seem like a friend.
You might see a guy and think he’s weird because he can’t talk to you, or you might see a girl and think he’s not nice because he doesn’t want to play ball with you.
My mother says: sometimes friendship is like a puzzle. You have to figure out how to get it right.
All proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to educate children with autism.
